Girl's Ministries Breaks Giving Record for Camp AN
Be sure and read this week's Pentecostal Evangel (March 24). On page 27, there is an article that informs us that Coins for Kids total giving for 2012 broke a giving record. Their project this year was to construct a permanent building for Camp AN. Praise God! A total of $215,276 was given for this project. Thanks to everyone who gave, and we are very excited about the potential of this building to help fulfill the mission of Camp AN in Western Alaska.
National Girls Ministries Director Candy Tolbert said, "Girls have given to help the Yupik people of Alaska have a place to come and hear the salvation message and grow in their relationship with the God of the universe."
Camp AN Director Jim Schulz has been working hard to make the necessary preparations for the project that will occur this summer.

Pt. Hope Pastoral Installation
This past Wednesday, Dr. Wade Cogan and Pastor Roy Welch were in Pt. Hope to install UL Johnson as Pastor of Pt. Hope AG. Wade reports that the service was outstanding, and there were 75 people in attendance. Below is a picture of Pastor UL Johnson, along with his wife, Lillian. We are very proud to have them as Pastors of Pt. Hope Assembly of God, and look forward to hearing what the Holy Spirit will be doing in the church and community. This is a vibrant church with a new building that is positioned well to impact their community with the Gospel.
Dr. Cogan preached the installation message.
Explaining the significance of the staff.
Preparing to present the staff, with the congregation in the background.
Brother Roy Welch had the honor of presenting the staff to Pastor UL. In addition to passing the staff, Brother Welch was also passing the baton of leadership of Pt. Hope. Pastor Welch has been the shepherd for this congregation for about 10 years. He has also been a mentor for Pastor UL, and will continue to do so. We deeply appreciate the effective ministry of Brother Welch in Pt. Hope.
Praying over Pastor UL.
Now it's time for the Potluck!

Manai Fou Hosts Central Region Luncheon
Pastor Frank & Judy Tanuvasa and Manai Fou AG hosted the Central Region Luncheon last week. When I say hosted, they prepared a delicious and bountiful feast with plenty to take home. They even had candy gifts at the table for everyone! We appreciate their hospitality and generousity. If you weren't there, you missed out! Thanks to Manai Fou Assembly of God! Also, thanks to Presbyter Fay for coordinating the meeting and for your leadership in the Central Region.
