We had a great time at Fine Arts Festival last weekend.
We had students from around the state, coming from as far as Bethel and the
Kenai Peninsula as well as students from the Central Region. A record number of
worship teams showcased their musical giftings in our kickoff rally on Friday
night, with everyone gathering together to worship alongside the student
leaders.
Over 50 students participated in events ranging from poetry to
short sermon to spoken word and were able to receive constructive feedback from
evaluators on how to improve even more in their talents. We want to send a huge
shout out of thanks to our host church, Muldoon Community Assembly, the
evaluators who volunteered their time and expertise, the youth pastors who
helped coach and cheer on their students, and the students of Alaska who
stepped into the talents and giftings God has given them.
