Reverend Paul Riley,
retired ordained Assemblies of God minister, passed away at his home Saturday,
September 5, 2015. Pastor Riley and his wife, Helen, pioneered Wasilla Assembly
(now Summit Worship Center) in 1951. The picture of the groundbreaking for that facility is below. He served faithfully in various ministries
as pastor, presbyter, and prison chaplain for more than 60 years. His
contribution to Alaska ministry is greatly appreciated by the Alaska Ministry
Network, and he will be missed by his many friends and co-laborers in Christ.
A celebration of life will be held at Summit Worship Center, located at 125 W. Riley Ave, Wasilla, Friday, September 11, at 1:00 p.m.
Our deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers go out to Sister Riley and family during this difficult time.
"To be absent from the body. . . [is] to be present with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8 KJV).
